Internet Connection Recharge

I took a 6 month connection with Hathway internet last month . Service is really poor in my house and majority of the time it is offline. Service engineer fixes the problem and the very next day it goes offline. They are not able to rectify my problem. I ask them to refund the money for the remaining months and cancel my connection. The customer service says they cannot cancel my plan and I have to exhaust the remaining months. Any solution?
